NEW YORK, Feb. 13 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ McGraw-Hill Education, a leading global provider of electronic and print products for the pre-K through 12th grade, higher education and professional markets, has announced that six of its educational-technology products are finalists in the Software & Information Industry Association's (SIIA) 21st Annual Codie Awards, a program that honors outstanding achievement and vision in the software, digital content and education technology industries. SIIA will announce the award winners in May.

Established in 1986, the Codie Awards is the longest-running awards program in the software and information industry. The program acknowledges the industry's most innovative products and services through a combination of journalist and peer review. More than 1,000 nominations were submitted by more than 800 companies for the 2005 awards, breaking the record set in 2004. This year's 331 Codie Awards finalists span a wide cross-section of the software and digital content industry.
